"Here at
Stourport High we wanted to celebrate National Share a Story Month with some
fun, interactive story telling techniques. Ian came along with a box full of
exciting, challenging, creative games and story telling techniques, even props!
From the minute he came bounding into the Library full of energy and enthusiasm
he entertained and engaged 30 mixed ability students for over 2 hours with fast
moving word games, hilarious interactive stories, songs and rhymes. His fast
paced wit and intelligence was pitched perfectly to meet the individual
student’s needs, he picked up on their unique characteristics and mirrored them
to push them to their own creative limits. Every student embraced every
challenge he presented to them, no moans, groans or refusals. They laughed,
sang, danced, acted, made up stories, rhymes and poems in small groups, large
groups and individually as Ian lead them through a storytelling adventure they
will never forget.
"Many thanks Ian
for a wonderful afternoon. You came, you entertained, and you conquered! A
creative genius."
